New Year 2019
The year is new but My goals are not—I’m always building My Fempire. I set Myself goals and achieve them all year long, so this day is like any other (aside from My small dog snuggled beside Me trying to hide from the explosions outside). A strong, powerful woman such as Myself is the Masteress of Her own destiny and does not use a calendar date as an excuse to create the reality She deserves. Rather than being adrift in a sea of mediocrity, waiting for a life preserver of inspiration, I am breathing wind into My own sails and keeping My eye on the horizon of My destiny.
In the last year I have achieved much.
I launched My website, which has over 13,000 hits (go me!).
I have a growing online presence on various social media accounts.
I joined a wonderful group of Dommes online for a monthly book club to network, grow, share, and learn from each other.
I began attending parties in Chicago on a regular basis and met several local Dommes in real time.
I'm now known nationally; I have connections from NY to SF, IL to FL
I've begun to learn rope. I attended Ropecraft Chicago and had a wonderful time! I'm hoping to go back again this year.
I've grown My toy collection MASSIVELY!
I took a lot of education classes! I studied one-on-one online with oh-so-wonderful Michelle Lacy. I studied in person in San Francisco with Cleo DuBois, Eve Minax, Selina Raven, and JD of Two Knotty Boys, something that wasn't even on my radar at the beginning of the year! I'm currently taking, and nearing the end of, a hypnosis course, at the end of which I will be certified with the National Guild of Hypnotists and the National Federation of Neurolinguistic Programming. And I'm still learning with Kink Academy.
I've become a book reviewer for Cleis Press.
I got to go on two actual vacations.
You can't begin to imagine what I have in store for 2019! And no, I'm not telling yet.
It’s good to have goals. If you don't have any set for yourself, you should. Set mini goals that are achievable; you'll never know where they'll take you! Having a support network in place is key--you may have a better one than you think. Ask those around you for help with your goal if you need it. You may be surprised by the positive responses you get. If you haven't taken the jump to see a Mistress yet, and you've been thinking about it, now is a great time. One of the most satisfying things for a Mistress is to see Her submissive flourish and grow. A Mistress will help you achieve your goal...or else.
